The YMCA movement began in London, England in 1844. Our YMCA has been in continuous operation since 1885. We are
a community service organization dedicated to helping individuals and families reach their full potential by promoting
a healthy life-style and by providing opportunities to develop spirit, mind, and body. Our programs services emphasize four core values: caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.

School-Age Care
Outreach Site Supervisors and Assistants for School-Age and Middle School Care Programs. We are looking for individuals that enjoy working with K-8^th grade youth. The Y will provide a safe, healthy environment for elementary and middle school students to develop their skills and talents and also broaden their interests. We will strive to build self-confidence and 40 developmental assets on a daily basis. We will use the 4 core Y values to help youth have fun in a positive environment.

We will offer the program at school sites when school is in session. We will offer a full day program at the Y during holidays and breaks. The morning program will begin at 6:30 AM until the first school bell rings and the afternoon program hours will begin at the dismissal bell until 5:30 PM Monday through Friday.

The positions will have a split shift when school is in session and the program will be held at the school. On full days out for holidays or breaks the positions will have straight shifts at the Y. This will be about 20-25 hours per week with some weeks being 25-30 hours per week when school is not in session. We are looking for both site supervisors and assistants for our before and after school programs.

Youth Development
