Group Exercise Classes "in water"

Take advantage of the buoyancy of water to enhance physical fitness. Water exercise increases physical strength and endurance without putting stress and strain on joints. Swimmers and non-swimmers alike can take part in water exercise classes from relaxing yoga-like movements in the warm pool to high energy movements in the deep end of the cool pool.

FREE Aquatic Group Exercise Classes

AI CHI

Submerge into our warm pool with the focus on improving your mind and body.

AiChi uses a combination of deep breathing and slow, broad movements of arms, legs, and the torso.

You will improve your range of motion and overall mobility, deepen your relaxation and reduce stress.

Tuesday and Thursday's 8:05 am - 8:55 am

Deep Water Exercise

A zero-impact deep water workout! Get a great cardio workout while you strengthen, tone, and increase flexibility. Intensity is easily adjusted for all levels of fitness.

Balance & Strength

To meet the needs of our community that might otherwise be left out of exercise and socialization, this class is intended to meet goals such as increased function and sense of well-being. Some health conditions need cool water temperatures of 80-84 degrees, to help keep core body temperatures low and reduce the chances of overheating which can cause temporary worsening of symptoms.  Balance skills, strength training and flexibility will benefit all.

This class is great for those with Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Diabetics and anyone who wants a workout in the cool pool.

Shallow Water Exercise

Come and join the fun! You will experience a wide variety of exercises that include dance, kickboxing, jogging, and toning. Intensity and impact can be varied on an individual basis.

Slow & Easy

This warm pool class brings you benefits from low impact exercises and stretches. Especially designed for those with limited joint motion or cardio respiratory function.

Water Aerobics (Evening)

This popular water aerobics workout will be a swimming blend of cardio and resistance training, and may incorporate resistance tools such as buoyant weights and noodles.

Monday and Wednesday's 5:30 pm - 6:15 pm

Group Exercise

Group Exercise Classes "on land"

Free with membership, our land-based group exercise classes offer a variety of options for fun and fitness. From relaxing stretching and strengthening to heart-pounding cardio action, you can find a class that makes exercise anything but routine. 

All classes are open to ages 13 years and older. Ages 8-12 who have passed a Youth Wellness Orientation may participate at the discretion of the instructor.
