Mgcini serves the YMCA as the Branch Executive of the Rock Island YMCA.
Mgcini has a Bachelor of Science in International Business from Southwest Baptist University and a Master of Science in Non-Profit Management from Grace College and is pursing a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Liberty University. He is originally from Zimbabwe, but moved to the U.S. in 2017. Mgcini is excited to be a part of this community with his wife, who grew up in the Quad Cities, and their three sons.
The Mpofu family loves to explore new places together, whether it be an outdoor hike or a fun indoor activity. Mgcini loves to travel and is passionate about engaging with his community and making it a better place.
