Shannon Flynn

Director of School-Age Care

Shannon joined the Two Rivers YMCA in 1997. During the school year, Shannon oversees Before & After School Care sites in Moline and Hampton. The school age care program allows working parents to provide safe, affordable care for the child in an environment that nurtures the potential of every child. In the summer, Shannon helps provide a rich and rewarding summer camp experience for hundreds of kids and families. Shannon has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Western Illinois University. She loves seeing the faces of children who discover something new for the first time. She loves seeing them smile when children are enjoying themselves. “It’s great when I see people who were in my program years ago and they tell me what an impact the program had on their lives.” Shannon enjoys spending time with my family and friends.  She loves to travel and she loves her Chicago Bears.
