Breanne joined the Two Rivers YMCA in 2013. She oversees the operations of our 53rd Street branch. Wellness, Aquatics, Membership, and Youth/Family are all areas you will find her helping our members. Breanne earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Southern Illinois University/Edwardsville and a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Tiffin University. She is a certified instructor for a number of group exercise classes, personal training, stress management, YMCA Global Leader certification, and many other leadership certifications. PERSONALITY & PHILOSOPHY
Go big or go home. I tend to have the mentality of an all-in approach when it comes to training. However, what that looks like for each person is unique to the individual. Wellness isn’t just about exercise, but about spirit, mind, and body. Sometimes it could be physical fitness, other times it may be learning to manage our stress better or focus on nutrition, looking at our sleep patterns, meditation, and everything in between. Wellness is not a one size fits all format, but a unique experience designed to reach each individual’s potential on their personal journey. To sum up my personality and philosophy with training is one word: adaptability.
