This program focuses on introducing kids to the exhilarating world of track and field through fun and interesting activities. Our experienced coaches provide a supportive environment for young athletes to develop their skills and discover their potential.
QC SUMMER GAMES TRACK MEET
Co-sponsored by the Quad Cities Summer Games and the Two Rivers YMCA. This track event will take place on May 30th, 2025 at 6:00pm at Augustana in partnership with QC Summer Games.
Participants (ages 2-14) will get to choose in competing in different track and field events. T-Shirt will be provided!
Track Events:
- 4 x 50 meter shuttle relay
- 1600 meters
- 100 Meters
- 400 meters
- 50 meters
- 800 meters
- Family-Kids No Rules one lap relay
(You can have as many members on the team as you like and run as far as you like)
Field events (taking place during the track events):
- Long Jump (2 pits)
- High Jump (2 pits)
- Shot Put
- Softball Throw
Track Academy
This program focuses on introducing kids to the exhilarating world of track and field through fun and interesting activities. Our experienced coaches provide a supportive environment for young athletes to develop their skills and discover their potential. Registration for the Track Academy includes participation into the May 30th, QC Summer Games Track Meet at Augustana!
Located in the Large field next to the Pavilion and Pre-K playground of the Moline-East Moline YMCA
